Ms. Zakiya Kurrien

Director Emerita, Centre for Learning Resources, Pune, and Co-Chairperson of its Governing Council, Ms. Kurrien has been involved in Teacher Education in USA and subsequently in India. A member of the Technical Advisory Group set up by the World Bank for Inter-Sectoral Research in Child Development, and World Bank representative for the In-Depth Review Mission of the District Primary Education Programme (DPEP), Government of India, she was awarded the Kumud Bansal Award 2015 ‘For Exemplary Contribution in Primary Education’
