KEMHRC has been conducting numerous studies in partnership with national level instructions including Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India.
International collaborations include projects with the Gates Foundation, National Institute of Health Research UK, National Institute of Health US, FCDO UK, MRC UK, World Health Organisation (WHO), INDEPTH Network, Wellcome Trust, University of California San Francisco, and several other renowned global institutions.
KEMHRC is associated with various platforms and working groups, including PRERNA Platform, which focuses on improved maternal health and survival, growth and development of newborns and children in India. The NIHR global health research unit on respiratory health (RESPIRE) is another network partner: it aims to reduce the impact and number of deaths caused by respiratory diseases in Asia in partnership with collaborators from four Asian countries.
KEMHRC is also a network partner of BOLD: Burden of Obstructive Lung Diseases, which was designed to quantify the prevalence of obstructive lung disease and to identify its risk factors across several regions in the world.
